Winning The 2024 ARN Innovation Management Excellence Award

I won! Woot!

So honoured to receive the prestigious ARN Innovation Management Excellence Award at the 2024 ARN Innovation Awards. The ARN Innovation Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the Australian IT industry, recognising individuals and organisations that drive innovation and contribute significantly to the technology sector.

No one can do everything alone, and innovation is most definitely a team effort. This recognition reflects the hard work and creativity of the entire Patient Zero team.

As a serial finalist in awards, I did not think I would win on the night. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride, or so they say. As I made my way off stage after collecting the award, I started to chuckle to myself. What made this win even better was the video we had created in our Co-CEO series leading up to this. In the video, Paul and I try to hack our way into the system to alter the results of the ARN Innovation Awards. I have a team trying to ensure I win, and he has a team trying to ensure that I lose. It was all fictitious, of course, and somewhat humorous, at least we think so.
